These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the use of the ShinyBright website at www.shinybright.com.au (“Website”), as well as any services provided by ShinyBright, including cleaning services (“Services”). By using the Website or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Website Use
The Website is for your personal and non-commercial use only. You must not use the Website for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, or to transmit or upload any harmful viruses, worms, or malicious code. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Website, or interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Website.
2. Service Bookings and Payment
By booking services through our website (all bookings must be made online), you agree to pay the quoted price for the services, including any applicable fees for additional services requested. By using our website and booking system, you agree to follow the terms and conditions of our current third-party booking and payment providers. Please review all relevant terms and policies carefully before proceeding. Do not continue with your booking unless you agree to be bound by them.
During the booking process, you will be asked to provide valid payment details for your weekly or fortnightly cleaning service. We do not offer one-off cleans, end-of-lease cleans, or any services other than weekly or fortnightly home cleaning. You will not be charged until your cleaning service has been delivered and confirmed. All bookings are subject to service area availability and must be confirmed in writing before commencement.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you need to cancel a booked service, we kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full, based on the total time scheduled. For example, if your booking was for 2 hours, the full 2-hour fee will apply. If the booking was for 3 hours, the full 3-hour fee will be charged.
ShinyBright offers regular, tailored cleaning services — weekly, fortnightly, or monthly — and each client is matched with a dedicated team member. When a cancellation is made at short notice, we’re unable to reassign that team member to another client, as their schedule is already fully booked. In these situations, the full service fee is paid directly to your cleaner as compensation for their lost income.
We are happy to accommodate planned absences such as holidays if we’re given sufficient notice in advance. However, we are not able to offer flexible, week-to-week or last-minute changes, as our regular service structure is designed to provide consistency for both our clients and our team.
We truly appreciate your understanding. Supporting our dedicated team members — who take great pride in their work — is part of what allows us to consistently deliver a premium service you can rely on.
In the rare event that ShinyBright needs to cancel a service, you will either not be charged for your service or you will receive a full refund for the cancelled booking.
4. Service Guarantee and Liability
ShinyBright guarantees that Services will be performed with reasonable care and skill. However, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Shiny Bright is not liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise, arising from the provision of the Services or any act or omission by Shiny Bright, its employees, or contractors.
5. Intellectual Property
The content and intellectual property on the Website, including but not limited to logos, trademarks, designs, images, text, and software, are the property of ShinyBright or its licensors. You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or display any part of the Website without prior written consent from ShinyBright.
6. Privacy Policy
By using the Website or Services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information in accordance with ShinyBright’s Privacy Policy, which can be found on the Website.
7. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
ShinyBright may amend these Terms from time to time by posting an updated version on the Website. By continuing to use the Website or Services, you accept the updated Terms.
8. Anti-Defamation
As a visitor to our website and user of our services, you agree to provide ShinyBright with a fair opportunity to address and resolve any concerns or issues you may have before publishing any negative or less-than-perfect public reviews or comments on third-party platforms, including but not limited to Google Reviews, Yelp, or Facebook. We are committed to delivering a high standard of service and ask that all feedback be shared with us directly in the first instance, so we can respond promptly and appropriately.
